╭✿╯Fiji Moments...Taking that stroll down memory lane.... A beautiful memory of our Trip to Fiji (The Warwick~ Resort & Spa).

Bula... Fiji.

The heart of the South Pacific, Fiji is blessed with 333 tropical islands that are home to happiness and sheer bliss. Famous for its soft coral diving, white sand beaches and pristine natural environment, Fiji is breathtakingly beautiful with gorgeous scenery and warm & friendly people, to complement it. I spent magical days in Fiji & won't hesitate to go back there again. (Warwick Fiji Resort & Spa).

What a gorgeous memory, interacting with the Fijian people & their way of life. Beautifully warm and caring. Everything about the place was beautiful - from its people to its culture, its food and the beautiful heavenly setting. I'd go back there any day.

“There's nothing better than having true friends around unless they are true friends with chocolate.”

“Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It's not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything.”
― Muhammad Ali

“When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.”
― Henri J.M. Nouwen, Out of Solitude: Three Meditations on the Christian Life

"My eyes behold what Beauty is...
Beauty is the sky touching the earth in the horizon.

Beauty is the 1 living flower on the withering branch.
My eyes behold what Beauty is.
Beauty is the 1st snow on a Winter's night.
The 1st sign of light creeping thru' the darkest night.
Beauty is the adoration u have for the 1 u love...

and the one who loves u back.
Beauty is your child at play without a care.
And the times u and your child have shared.
My eyes behold what Beauty is.
Beauty is the face that smiles & melts your heart.
Beauty is that precious piece of priceless art.
Beauty is the ocean, beating against rocky shores.' Beauty is an owl's eye, staring back at yours.
My eyes behold what Beauty is.
Beauty is a star-lit sky,
a snow-capped mountain, oh so high.
Beauty is a tranquil lake.
Beauty is your mind's eye of the pearly gates.
Beauty captivates your soul
Beauty surrounds us, young & old.
Beauty is God,
and God's beauty is in you.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,
Because beauty is God's view."

Was gorgeously scenic, awe-inspiring, tranquil & beautifully memorable.

Travel, because life is short and the world is large, and because adventures are the best way to learn, to savour, to explore, to arouse, to appreciate, to indulge in, to embrace, to immerse oneself in, to stimulate, to enjoy...and to feel. I could go on forever highlighting the pleasurable feelings evoked from travelling...but I won't.  I think you get my meaning.

will eventually find its way to you.

You can go through life and make new friends every year - every month practically - and on Facebook, literally every minute of every day - but there'll never be any substitute for those true, lasting friendships that survive life's tumultuous years & moments. Those are the ones in which we are bound to one another with hoops of steel.

One of my highlights, when I returned to Aus from Fiji, was leaving my souvenir box unattended and when it dawned on me, I quickly scurried along to collect it. By then, the airport security had cordoned off the area and was seconds away from blowing the parcel up, especially with all the terrorist activities heightened. When I asked how long before I collected my parcel, that they would have taken action, the response was, "We had already begun taking action. Your parcel was seconds away from being blown up and the airport was minutes away from being under lockdown...and I mean the entire airport! Whew, was all I could muster, after finally digesting all that was happening around me. Gotta love me and the drama that engulfs me.  These were my gorgeous souvenirs that were almost blown up.
